Manitou's dance on the Hungaroring PDF Print E-mail
This year's VI. Axiál Manitou Operator's Olympics was attended by a nice crowd and was a great success. The prestigious event was held on June 6th-7th, on Friday and Saturday in Mogyoród, at Hungaroring Adventure Park. On the first day in the semifinals, more than 100 competitors battled it out, in the playful but technically challenging exercises.
 

ImageIn the final on Saturday, the winner came from the best 16 competitors and it was the reigning champion, who claimed his second victory this year, and defended his title.

Men’s race:
I. place: László Amatics (Hexagonal Bt., Szeleste)
Prize: Vocational trip to the Manitou centre, in France.
II. place: Imre Kovács (Contractor Ádám Vörös's racer, Hódmezôvásárhely)
Prize: AGIP gas card.
III. place: Gergô Csókási (Szabadbattyán)
Prize: MICHELIN tyres coupon.

The traditional women's race was held on Friday. The Manitou prancing ladies list is as followed:
I. place: Anikó Katonáné Szabó (Jánoshalma)
Prize: Gift basket.
II. place: Gyuláné Tóth (Somogysárd)
Prize: Gift basket
III. place: Józsefné Duzmath (Dömsöd)
Prize: Gift basket

ImageOn the second day of Manitou Olympics in association with Hód-Mezôgazda Zrt, a Media Adventure Day had been organised, where journalists and employees of financial institutes tested their technical skills in the Hungaroring Adventure Park's challenges and on the eased Manitou Olympics race track. The ladies and gentlemen were awarded separately, but surprisingly there was no significant difference in their results, they all handled the challenges with a lot of bravery
and with excellent results.

Results in the ladies' race as followed:
I. place: Kornélia Várhelyi (Lombard Lízing Zrt.)
Prize: Vocational trip to Bavaria.
II. place: Kata Bethlen (Haszon Agrár)
Prize: Wellness gift coupon to Silver Hotel in Hajdúszoboszló.
III. place: Edit Bárdos B. (Magyar Mezôgazdaság)
Prize: 2 adult and 2 children tickets to Aquapark in Mogyoród.

The result of the gentleman's race:
I. place: Péter Szilágyi (Nimród Vadászújság)
Prize: Vocational trip to Bavaria.
II. place: János Szabó-Kocsis (Agrárágazat)
Prize: Wellness gift coupon to Silver Hotel in Hajdúszoboszló.
III. place: Mihály Fodor (Mezôhír)
Prize: 2 adult and 2 children tickets to Aquapark in Mogyoród.
