Amongst the companies working on difficult grounds the MAZ trucks have become more and more popular in Hungary as well. That is why the MAZ-Baltija – one of the well-known truck manufacturers in Litvania -  decided to start selling its European standard products in Hungary, and to found an independent dealer in Budapest.

ImageThe dumpers with a payload of 10-20 t leave the Litvanian assembling plant with  4 and 6-cylinder DEUTZ or Mercedes engines and with ZF transmissions.  The popularity of the Litvanian  EURO 4 MAZ trucks lies not only in their extremely favourable prices. They not just live up to the environmental directives and other legislative acts – electronic tachograph, ABS, etc. – but the manufacturer also payed great attention to the comfort of the driver’s cabin, which is now less noisy and more comfortable compared to the earlier models.

Besides dealing in dumpers already known by the Hungarian customers, the new dealer offers a wider range of products: specialized bodies, concrete mixers, cranes and other commercial vehicles and buses. The MAZ trucks of the newest generation have kept the characteristic features of the brand: the robustness and the tractability, and in addition they are endowed with the great achievements of the German innovative engineering.

The MAZ trucks have been very successful in Spain, the Czech Republic, in Slovakia, Esthonia, Latvia, Romania, Bulgaria and also in Poland. That is the reason why the company envisages the same results in Hungary.

Why is it worth buying a MAZ truck?

  • The trucks have Mercedes-Benz or Deutz engines.
  • The vehicles correspond to the Euro 4 standards.
  • The trucks with the tipping platform and chassis are mounted with Deutz in-line 4.8 or 7.1 lit. PSV engines that are 215 and 325 hp strong respectively.
  • The tractor heads’ Mercedes 12 liter V-type engines are 435 hp strong.
  • The performance is aided by the ZF 6, 9 or 16-speed manual gearbox.
  • The anti-blocking system and the anti-slip regulation fitted as standard keeps the power in check.
  • The 4x2 and 6x4 MAZ trucks are both available designs.
  • The trucks with tipper trough and chassis and the tractor heads respectively can be fitted according to the individual needs of the customer.
  • The vehicles can be endowed with construction, road construction, communal and special bodies and accessories.
  • The MAZ grants 18 months warranty to its products.
  • A well built-up service network assures an efficient, obstruction-free work.
  • The delivery times are very short. The trucks are transported partly from the Hungarian storehouse, partly from the plant with a 2 or 3 weeks delivery time.
  • At the main dealer’s site of the Maz Balti Hu Kft. in Budapest the customers are offered ten different models.

The customers have the opportunity to have a look at the MAZ trucks at the Truck Expo organized at the Hungexpo fair center between 14-18 May 2008 or at the sites of the MAZ Balti Hu Kft.
