A compelling construction machine exhibition in Sóskút PDF Print E-mail
First there was the NO! Immediately after it came the YES! It happened so that the members of the Construction Machine Sales and Rentals Association (CMSRA) declared in unison that they would not participate on the Construma (International Construction Industry Trade Fair organised verey year in Hungary) And they added: YES, they would organize a trade fair together, which would be out of the ordinary! It would be out of the ordinary, as the machines would be available not only for viewing but also for trying on a „wild" terrain. The agreement was realised, and this is how the first CMSR construction machine fair came into being in the town of Sóskút, which can be surely registered into the CMSR history as a successful event unabashedly.

ImageThe 3-day fair and machine exhibition was inagurated by Mr Kázmér Csorba, office-bearer and Mr Csizmadia Krisztián, secretary general of the association. Mr Csorba higlighted the fact that the former statical Hungarian trade fairs had not served the interests of either the customers nor the sellers, as it is a cardinal aspect that the customer can see what the machine is capable of. This is how the idea came that the members of the CMSRA - regardless of  their occasional competition -  should jointly organize a fair trade where the visitors can see and try the machines of various makes at the same time and place. This is useful for both the sellers and customers. Mr Krisztián  Csizmazia talked mainly about the parameters of the event. He stated that the machines of 14 machine categories exhibited are worth nearly HUF 3 milliard. He further mentioned that the organizers had chosen the mine in the town of Sóskút as it is, first of all, easily accessible,  being close to Budapest, secondly parking is not difficult, thirdly, the geographical conditions are excellent for the front bucket loaders, dumpers, mining machines or cranes to show what they are capable of.

In the huge mine that amounts to some 22 hectars, and having two storeys nearly 300 ”works of art”, that is 300 machines waited for the visitors.
In the imposing hillside reminding of a Roman amphitheatre the machines could be inspected in real conditions. The front bucket loaders, crushers, screeners, mini excavators all demonstrated their power.
The visitors could also be part of a „harsh competition” to which 22 of the 40 exhibiting companies registered. The well-known trade marks represented by these companies tried a fall with one another in several categories.
At the outdoor area 19 companies exhibited their products. The huge equipments, cranes, compressors could be seen here, as well as the spare parts and attachments of these machines.

All the exhibitors wer also presents in the big tent aligned according to categories:
- CMSRA members
- Mining machine sellers
- Parts and attachment manufacturers

Furthermore there were also merchants and companies offering financial services.

The exclusivity of the event was enhanced by the fact that many new machines that was newly introduced to the market could be seen here for the first time after the Bauma, the biggest European fair trade organised in München.

The event was very successful which is shown by the fact that both the visitors and exhibitors said, that the CMSRA days should be organised again as soon as possible, and the fair trade should be made tradition!
