This shows that TERTS is seen as a crucial European platform, providing visitors interested in road transportation with all the news and innovations they need under one roof. The exhibition will take place between 26 October and 3 November 2007 in Amsterdam RAI.

ImageTERTS 2007 is one of two major European platforms that feature the entire range of the commercial vehicle industry. In addition to all the well-known European lorry brands, this year’s exhibition will also be noted for the renewed attendance of light commercial vehicle manufacturers. Given the speed with which innovations follow each other within the commercial vehicle segment, it is no surprise that a number of manufacturers have chosen TERTS 2007 as the platform to present their latest products to the world. Furthermore, TERTS is the exhibition of reference for commercial vehicle brands, as it allows them to show customers detailed solutions that make transportation more efficient and sustainable, thereby improving productivity. It is partly thanks to the status of TERTS that visitors can enjoy such a large number of stands packed with innovations.

International
The number of new international registrations is impressive. There are at least 40 new exhibitors this year, hailing both from countries surrounding the Netherlands and as far afield as the US, South Korea, Taiwan, Turkey, Spain and Sweden. The total covered floor surface has, accordingly, increased by 5% to more than 60,000 m2. And 98% of the space available at TERTS 2007 has already been booked!

Special themes
Smart solutions, particularly in IT, will receive a great deal of attention during TERTS 2007. Information technology solutions for aspects such as maintenance and fleet management are being given an increasingly important role within the transport sector. This includes everything from simple navigation systems (for trucks and other vehicles) to complex tracing and tracking, route planning and hour registration systems, as well as ultra-modern road pricing systems provide an excellent indication of advances within the industry. A special pavilion will underline the fast-growing influence of information technology in road transportation. Some 18 participants have already signed up to exhibit existing technology there, with a particular emphasis on new developments relevant for the near future.
