On February 10. 2008. SANY Heavy Industry demonstrated to the world the 'height of quality', by setting the record 492 meters construction height. On this day the Shanghai World Financial Center (SWFC) was filled with people whom eye-witnessed the 492 meters pumping height provided by SANY's HBT90CH super high pressure trailer concrete pump. With this the 'Pump King' broke the old 406 meters vertical pumping record, which was also set by SANY five years ago at the construction of the Hong Kong International Financial Center.
 Today the SWFC is the world tallest building. In pursuance of the contract made with the contractor, the 3 SANY HBT90CH-2135D concrete pump had a leading role in the concrete work by delivering 234,500 cubic meters concrete.
The SANY super high pressure concrete pump secured the effectiveness of the construction work with the fact that it poured 30,000 cubic meters concrete into the building's foundation in a 40 hours period.

SANY Heavy Industries Co. Ltd developed it's first truck mountable concrete pump in 1999 in a 37 m design, which was a record in China at that time. Today the products range from 28 m to 66 m. In 2003 they delivered 500 machines and that was a 50% market share in China. The main accessories come from internationally recognized supplier: hydraulic pumps from Rexroth, hydraulic filters from Hydac, PLC control from Siemens, hydraulic control valves from Vickers, and the hauled pumps engine from Deutz. The hauled and truck mounted SANY concrete pumps common features are:
I. Open hydraulic cycle, that guaranties the smooth direction change, simple construction and reliable function.
II. Complete hydraulic direction change: as opposed to the direction switch commonly used in other brands (which increases system complexity and a source for error) the SANY concrete pump uses the main cylinder's position as the control signal, which is a more reliable solution. III. Full automatic high-low pressure switch-over technology: in other type pumps the switch mechanism is usually manual, while in the SANY concrete pump it happens automatically in a matter of a second. IV. Infinite output volume regulation: a switch controlled electronic proportional valve helps in the regulation of output volume. The CPU of the control unit auto- matically controls the main pump's volume displacement, according to the switch's setting. V. Remote control system: the SANY concrete pumps can operate manually, and up to a 100 meters an effective radio control can be used. To avoid interference, 4 different frequencies are available.
VI. SANY's patented technology allows the delivery cylinder's pistons to be retractable. This means that the pistons can be changed in 20 minutes, while in other types this process can last as long as 3-4 hours. VII. Automatic rev control: traditionally the accelerator pedal is used to adjust the engine rev, which is not efficient because the rev is costant, irrespectively of the load. The computer controlled rev control system developed by SANY, automatically adjust the rev according to the load, to assure significant fuel saving and greater life expectancy.
VIII. Greater life expectancy wearing parts: the diameter of the delivery cylinder is 230 mm, the number of strokes per minute is 24, which is 6-8 strokes smaller than the average in other types, creating greater service interval. The wearing parts (cutting ring, delivery cylinder) are mad of extremely hard alloy, and this increases their life expectancy from 10000 m3 to 20000 m3.
